Cruiserparts.net . It wasn't too inexpensive.. my wife was not too enthusiastic about the expense and the amount of time that I will be available in the next month or so.

I know a guy that can help you out if you need any parts or knowledge about the diesel conversion as he has started importing TLC's from Europe into Texas. Joes Classic Cruisers LLC out of Van Alstyne, Texas joesclassiccruisers@outlook.com I also have his phone number if you ever need it.

Hello everyone, I'm Pointman (AKA) Steve.
I have a 1987 Chevy K5 Blazer. I've been modifying off and on since I bought her in December of 08. The engine is a 383 stroker motor with a corporate 14 bolt rear end. 6" shackle flip lift rolling on 37"s.
Found this forum through YouTube videos on overlanding.
I wanted to get into adventure sports and get away from the usual campground type camping. As of today I do not have much in the likes of overlanding gear. I do have camping/backpacking gear. Looking forward to getting out and exploring Arizona. View attachment 22218
Fellow Arizonian, that is a very nice looking K5.. Are you going to go up to Flagstaff to the West ExPo? There will be lot's of vendors there for you to check out and the place will be full of Overland Bound Members...

Well, there's nothing quite like stumbling upon a community of like-minded individuals...

I'm Nate and I'm sure like many of you, it was pretty to cool to learn there was a name for the vehicle-based adventures I've been going on for years.

In my early years, you could either find me elbow-deep in a Jeep, or knee-deep in mud trying to figure out my next move. I still have my first rig, albeit in an unfortunate state of deterioration, and a new (to me) blank canvas waiting to be lovingly adorned with all the adventuring doodads.

The cherry-red 1993 2-door XJ Sport was (and still is, to some degree) my baby, but I'm afraid I just don't have the capital, or maybe the heart, to restore it to its former glory. Much like the founder of OB, I too have found that divorce has a peculiar way of sending you back to your roots. I just dumped my family-man sedan for the Subaru Outback I've always wanted...don't ask me why, I've just always loved them...

At any rate, I look forward to being a member of what looks like an organization of fine human beings.

Thanks.

Greetings all! We are overlanding in a seriously modified '84 CJ7 and a utility style trailer with RTT that I have been modifying and tweaking as we continue our explorations of the west. I am new to overlanding, having lurked on a few forums for a couple of years, but not new to off roading and camping. I look forward to sharing ideas with like minded people.
