Hello, Im Chris, I have an Off-road/Overlanding problem. Oh wait, this isnt the place for that? HAHAHAHAHAHA, couldnt resist always wanted to start a conversation like that.

Just joined the group from Phoenix AZ (Hello from Captain Obvious). Former Midwesterner (Ark/KCMO) living in the desert for four years so far. Been following the Overland Bound YouTube (and a few others) for a while. Figured now was a good time to jump in. Looking forward to new experiences and meeting new people.

Hello, obviously i'm new the overland bound community. Have been out on several short trips testing my 2005 F-150 and tweaking a few things since. Looking forward to connecting with some folks and enjoying the outdoors. I have made quite a few mods to the old trusty Ford and still have quite a few on the to do list like i'm sure we all do. In any case feel free to connect and lets him some trails, i'm currently picking off portions of the Oklahoma Adventure Trail. I started NW of Tulsa and am going clockwise around the state. Fished up down in Kiamichi WMA this last weekend. Going to pick it back up in a few weeks and see how far we can get in 3 days.

God Bless
Chad from Bixby OK
Welcome!

63ADC52B-EE4E-478D-83F2-EF2D80C2F4D3.jpeg Hello,
My name is Cooper and I live in Prescott, Arizona (born and raised). I am brand new here and I am looking forward to sharing stories and learning with all of you. I manage to get out quite a bit in the Southwest. I have 2017 Ram 2500 Cummins with a fair amount of AEV additions and a fairly built out AT Habitat that I absolutely love. I wouldn’t say that I use my truck primarily in a traditional Overland manner. The main purpose of my build is to have a place to lay my head after a long day spent with my wife tied into a climbing rope, on the saddle of my mountain bike, or strapped into my snowboard, as well as a means to consistently get me to all of these areas safely. I have already learned so much from the overland community and I am super excited to be here.

What's up everyone!
I'm a brand new overland enthusiast. Been following forums, groups, and videos. Always been a dream to build my own rig and been fortunate enough to start this year! Just got a 2019 4x4 Tacoma & currently living in the SoCal area. I'd love to hear tips, guides, suggestions on how to build a rig to enjoy overlanding! Tia. Super stoked to be a part of this community btw.

Hi Everyone,

Sam here from San Rafael, California. I have a 2017 Tacoma TRD OR. Currently it is still the stock package with a Bestop Supertop on the back. Not the greatest for the 3rd gen but it help between bringing the dogs along and keeping my work supplies dry in the rain. Just didn't want to give up the bed completely with a hard cap. I originally bought the truck two years ago to get into overlanding and did my first trip to Anza-Borrego within a week of owning it. Then Life life happened. So I don't have much overlanding experience yet. Looking forward to building out my rig and really get back out there. Any advice on good places to start out building my rig or great places to go that would be much appreciated. I'm already finding lots of great ideas going throw posts on this site.

I'm excited to get out there and hopefully I get to meet some of you along the way.

Here are some pics of her now plus the first trip overlanding.IMG_8614.JPGIMG_3466.jpg

Welcome to Overland Bound, glad your here. Make sure and check the forums for your local Overland groups and meet ups.

My suggestion would be to start of with sliders, a lift and tires!
