We are spending Thanksgiving at Mammoth with 6 people and no camping but we are looking for a cabin recommendation - away from the town if possible. Do you guys have any spots/location ya'll recommend?

Also, we are bringing our trucks so we wanted to do a bit of trail runs - nothing crazy just where we can find some views for the wives...

We drove out to Inyo Craters the last time we were down that way and thought they were pretty cool. It seemed like there was more trails around the area.

I’m not sure if they have started to receive snow yet for the year. It has been dry here in Idaho and our roads even up high are still clear.
