My wife and I are looking for some areas to enjoy on the Olympic Peninsula next week. We'd like to take our dog and find space for him to run. Are there any good dispersed camping areas that aren't in the National Parks that we should visit?
Any advice is appreciated.
Thanks,
-Matt

So there are three spots at the link I posted above. Two looked ok on the east side of the bridge, the one one the west side had a big puddle of water in it. There were a couple more a little west but people were using them.

Ended up camping here, https://goo.gl/maps/c3XcnvPVk4x it was fairly decent. Just a little ways west of a trail head that had a pit toilet.
Thanks for sharing. I've backpacked up to Upper Lena Lake. It's an ass kicker of a climb.
Does this spot let you setup camp close to the river so that you're not just on the side of the road?
