Locktite on CB antenna

Loc-tite doesn't conduct. I've never had one come loose before, what part is causing the problem?

Can I put lock tite on my CB stud or will it himder the signal.
It is mounted to my bumper and isn't staying tight?

Depending on what part of the CB stud is coming loose, you could just insert a crush washer somewhere in between the bumper and the CB stud, then just tighten it a bit to achieve the right amount of tension. It might even stand up to the normal on-the-trail shaking and hopefully not require regular tightening. Just my thoughts. Best of luck with it.

What kind of connection are we talking about?

Back when I used to run fiberglass CB whips, I always used a split ring lock washer. Never lost a whip.
