Hello I recently bought a 2005 Tundra. The previous owner bought it from a mechanic who used it as a camping vehicle. The same guy that used it to camp installed bilstein (appear to be 5100s) leveling struts with new bilsteins in the rear with 35 BFGs. I’ve always heard how bad torsion key leveling kits are for your truck, but are leveling struts just as bad do to the angle changes in the front suspension?

Any lift added to the front suspension has the ability to throw off factory alignment. My advise would be to have the front-end alignment checked/corrected.

That’s what I was thinking. I’ll have a pro look it over next paycheck [emoji1360]

Do you have a similar setup at all?
No. I installed a 3" coil-over set-up and replaced the UCA(upper control arms). I also installed taller tires, so the alignment needed to be re-adjusted.
My son installed a leveling kit w/struts on his previous truck(Chevy 1500) and had to have an alignment done to correct Camber/Caster/Toe-in.
