I've had this TJM compressor for a few years and i had always intended to mount it in the car somewhere with an air tank of some kind, while at a wreckers i picked up a factory air suspension tank cheap so that prompted to get started on mounting it.
I wanted it tucked out of the way where it wouldn't intrude interior space, after removing a foam block and bracket that originally held a UK style tow hitch there was just enough room to fit the compressor on some brackets i made.
Air tank is mounted on the opposite side to the existing one in the same position using existing chassis holes with 1 bracket i welded to the tank and 1 that uses threaded hole already there, i also removed one of the trailer sockets and bent up a steel bracket for a nitto receiver and an anderson plug for external 12v hookup. Still a few more pieces required like a manifold to hold the lines and a pressure switch then hook up the wiring and on/off switch.
