Jerry can and gass bottle holder

Hi I was thinking of replacing a cabinet with a cage on the top for gass bottles and jerry cans because it's awquard rattley and really heavy.
My idea was maybe to have locking can/bottle storage with a bracket for a trash bag that could be brought down to a workable height on a lever.
Has anybody made saw or used anything like this or has anybody any ideas
