Is anyone using a Weight Distribution Hitch to pull a trailer? Recommendations?

Looking again at possibly purchasing a small travel trailer. I'm lost when it comes to weight distribution hitches and sway bars. Some have added sway bars, and some have them integrated. I've looked on general RV sites, but they aren't much concerned about ground clearance.

Anyone use one and have suggestions? Thanks

I'm getting a 4K pound trailer and I will definitely add a sway bar. Every person I talked to is recommending it.

It looks like the best option for my particular setup will be a Fastway E2 600/6000 Trunnion WDH w/sway control. I'd get a Prodigy P3 brake controller, too. We're going to look at a used trailer next Monday.

This might be a day late, dollar short but if you have a trailer that needs weight distribution hitch absolutely get sway control with it. Do not buy a WD hitch with chains only. I dont know what you are towing with or trying to tow but Equal-i-zer, Fastway and Reese all make nice ones.

Not really. We ended up deciding not to buy a travel trailer at this time. So this thread will be good information for other folks looking for information about a weight distribution hitch. Thanks for the information and recommendations.
