US West Hunter Lake Trail Day Run

We were up there a month ago. Biggest issue was the bugs. The brush was full of small flying bugs that covered the rigs from stem to stern but flew away as soon as we got a little speed up. Otherwise, trail is in great shape and a stock fullsize bronco made it the whole way without any big issues.

For those coming on this day-run...
- Meet in Cabela’s Parking Lot at 9:AM
- We will depart at 9:30AM
- Bring
- Water
- Snacks and/or Lunch
- Shade, Hat, Warm clothes (the day will start cool and get warmer so think layers)
- A full tank of Gas in your rig
- There is a Chevron gas station at the meeting location
- Bug Repellent
- Definitely your Camera
- and a GPs device that can give you Longitude and Latitude (if you have one)
- Note: There will be another group somewhere on the trail possibly surveying the trail for repairs soooooo...
- We have offered to do the same from the direction we are entering
- We want to take notes on any areas that need clean-up or repair, Longitude/Latitude, and what’s the issue
- This will give us a bit of practice before heading to our newly adopted trail-- Peavine.
I will not be able to make this. I cannot figure out how to remove myself from the list, don't want someone to miss out thinking I was coming. Hope to see you all at the next one. Will.
