Hot weather camping

Gotta get high! 8000' or more does it.....
It's all relative...
3.5 to 5.5 degrees Fahrenheit cooler for every 1000' you go up.
But it's Mother Nature, so don't put a ton of faith in that equation.

Yea I have been looking at the extreme weather covers for the RTT.......

Do the extreme weather covers help with blocking light (Night shift cop) and heat? I was looking at them as well, but couldn't find too much information on them.

we are 98% dispersed campers\offgrid in the national forest. Our 2% is with our son & his family in public camp grounds. Either way summer time camping in the south can be hot with high humidity. We use a 12v. fan by Endless Breeze, draws little power & works well whether sitting out side or having strapped to the middle pole inside our RTT. I find with public camp grounds the asphalt really up's the heat.

I’ll vote for the fantastic fan as well, I’ve had it since 2017 and it’s done great. I power it with my goal zero yeti 400 along with my lights for camp and charging cell and it lasts all weekend no problem.

I did break one part of the fan blade assembly due to extreme terrain(it was my fault, not the product) and I was able to disassemble and use 2 part epoxy to glue it back together, works like a charm still.
