Honda Ridgeline/ Pilot Stock VS Lifted Uwharrie Offroad (AWD Festival 2022)

Ha! True, that is what I meant - you used them to save everybody else.

That XTerra was being held back by the tires, that boyo needs to put some real treads on that thing. Your Pilot ate all the other trucks for breakfast!

May my old traction boards rest in pieces! At least they went out with a bang!

Run whatcha brung. My motto. Don't matter. As long as you are out there, having fun....WHO CARES! Love the pilot. This was the very reason I stopped venturing to the "other site". If you didn't have a 200,000 dollar solid axle swapped rig, or something with 37" tires and portals, you were a loser. Same goes for tne snowpeak chopsticks.

The whole IFS/IRS high-clearance thing is what made the military HMMWV (Humvee) such a success. Its suspension travel is limited, but a good set of diff lockers will get a truck a lot farther than any amount of flex will. You can sky two wheels and keep moving with a good locker. I, however, prefer limited-slips.

The solid axle boys have a point, but the U.S. government chose four-wheel independent suspension for its military vehicles.

For what it's worth, the IFS/Solid configuration on the Tacoma (Hilux) seems to serve the home team well in the desert wars. Those dummies need to stop wrecking good trucks.
