• Guest, UPDATE We went through the site migration runbook and completed all steps. We will need to complete the migration next week, but will leave the forums up for the weekend. A few days after maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.

This has been my plate for the last 15 years and will be for the next 2.5 years, then I retire and we hit the road full time. Will have to change plates then as we will no longer be based in CA.

Here's my rig, a VW California Coach syncro with a modest 10cm lift and larger tires, BF/G AT km-0.
Picture just some metres off the Silvervegen in Sweden near Arjeplog last April as I and my daughter were on our way to where I come from, just over an hours drive further on into Norway.

Had it since New Years 2011, it has a 2.5TDi "102" bph (132) and a manual transmission with an "electronic diff lock", as they call it.Traction control as the rest of us call it. Works for me.

Vanity ? Meh, cannot take the blame for recieving the nick in the 90'es from anyone I met. Plates read "RUDEBOY" and thats how it is.
