Lots of adventure and work on the truck lately.

Installed the Auxbeam switch panel. Only thing actually wired is the front camera. Velcro'd next to the column.

Installed new Harley Davidson-style 05+ headlights and LED projector fog lights. Loving the darker look up front.

On our most recent CA road trip, got a big bolt in the driver front. Swapped on the fullsize matching spare and kept on trucking. Tire took a plug perfectly once home.

No pics but some maintenance: New bump stops out back, new o2's, new fuel filter. Such an easy truck to work on when you don't need a lift to get at any of that.

Had a few changes and adventures since my last update.

Picked up a Thule box off a buddy, threw most of my recovery stuff and spare clothes and whatnot that doesn't get used often up there.

Deleted the chrome rub strips. Can't stand it when OEMs have just a little bit of chrome on an otherwise clean slate.

Bolted on the Accufab SCTB96-98 throttle body. What a difference! Pulls hills and on-ramps much stronger and has a lot better tip-in. A whole different truck - like a sport model! A must-buy for any V10 owner IMHO. Takes maybe 15 minutes to put on, just need to add some zip ties at the pedal to take up the slack. Bonus, the factory cover fits for stealth!

Haven't done much to the truck besides drive it. Really enjoying the throttle response with the new TB.

Got invited to a wedding next to Sequoia NP so we couldn't resist that road trip.

Got to drive some of the original Route 66, including this neat drive-thru sign in Kingman

Then the stars aligned and we had a cold snap and a storm hit, so the mountains got a bit of snow.

I'd love to own an Excursion, but.. gas prices are probably close to $12/gallon if not more (just a rough estimate as we don't use mpg to calculate fuel use here).

I found a shop on Etsy that prints high-quality LED inserts for the factory interior bulbs, which are almost all festoon from the factory, and therefore don't particularly love bouncing around offroad or put out great light at all. Excellent fit/finish, and they even had instructions on how to solve broken festoon tabs for their setup. the amount of light inside is HUGE, I can see all the stuff my boys throw on the floor now.
