I’m going to be doing the George traverse from West to East this weekend. Any suggestions on good camping spots? 
 
I just got off the trail 2 days ago. If you go the northern route of Frog Loop, be prepared for a bridge outage. If you have a jeep, there is a bypass to the side or back track over the dam.
<edit> I started west~>east too!
The first climb in the rain was interesting!

BTW, Hickory Gap was nice (34.92632, -84.67681)
Jacks River Field Camp ( 34.86313, -84.51964)
There are so many opportunity sites to camp, you will have no issues finding one. 5 nights and we had all creekside and 2 lake side nights. Absolutely perfect.
