Wanting to tackle the georgia traverse either late October or early November. Will be heading up from Florida.

Probably a great time of year to do it. We did part of it in august and it was great but still warm. Everything was wet thanks to the tropical storms/hurricanes that came through.

We will be heading out tomorrow morning early on the way to Burrells ford to start the traverse.

Enjoy! The weather should be nice, especially the temperature. It was definitely still warm a few months back when we went despite reassurances it would be cooler at elevation. You should have a great time!
