Never been to a meet up before, what do you guys usually talk about?

The whole pandemic thing has cleared up my schedule!

Usually we sip on tea and talk about the book we read that month... ohh wait, this is Overland Bound, not book club of the month....
We chat about our rigs, trails we have ran in the past, future runs... past camping trips, must see trips, must do trips... etc etc... The first couple meetups usually are just a way to get to know each other. As people become comfortable with each other the Meetups turn into camping trips and trail rides.
The goal of the monthly Meetup is not just a social gathering, but a tool to help the experienced overlander teach and mentor the less experienced overlander.

Due to the Governors announcement today that all restaurants must close to dine in service due to the virus, Unfortunately we have to postpone this event until facilities come available again. We will re-post with a new date at that time We are also looking into options for turning into an outdoor BYOF (bring your own food) BBQ lunch event on a Saturday or Sunday let us know in the comments if you think this would be a good idea or if you have a better suggestion. Hoping this all blows over soon so we can get back to whatever normality we were used to. Hope to see you all soon.
