Had one of these as a work crew transport back when they first started making them. Was a v10 sucker could flap move but was always a chore keeping the gas tank topped off haha. Id have to say id pick one over a burban any day if they still made them. A good used one is hard to find thats not worn out AF

Yeah, they are definitely getting harder to find, and the sale prices are showing that. I traded in a suburban in for this one at a dealership in 04 of the lot.

Top is at 9200 ft and 2nd is Death Valley. Having a custom rear bumper w/ tire swing arm and 2 Jerry cans being made right now for a her. 3rd I sleep comfortable in my portable motel 6 with a 360 view. Notice the TP in case I want to write to Obama. Next is the slide out boxes for under the bed. Thinking of some fix lighting for in the back of the bed. I have Christmas rope lighting with solar but the rope to long. I have to use the wooden kick stand bcuz it got so cold out camping that they stopped working.Dock Rocker

I have two full sized rigs. One is full sized and long the other is full sized and wide. One weighs in at a tad over 9k and one at just under 5,500.
My daily driver and glamping rig that takes the wife and kiddo on the longer hauls is a 2017 f-250. I am really just getting started building it. Right now it’s got Fox shocks, a few small interior mods, a leer shell with a few LED add on’s, and on board air and tank.

My second rig is currently my “local” rig unless it goes on the trailer behind the f-250. It’s top speed is currently 55-60. In the next month or so it will get an overdrive (4l80) that will extend its range considerably. It’s a 95 M998 hmmwv. I have added front and rear winches plus a few creature comforts hear and there. It’s a great trail rig as you don’t have to worry about the paint (or anything else for that matter) and it has plenty of room.

Na, no diesel. 5.9 V8. in the cab I run 400w CB, Tom-Tom GPS, XM Radio, dash Cam and an Inverter for some electrical and soon to have on board air and a winch after my bumper. I had Chrome Bullet steps and broke one last year on a rock trying squeeze into a camping spot between trees and a rock

Located in central CA. 50 miles n/ne of Bakersfield CA. AKA the desert. When I get my Dodge back from the shop I will post pics of the bumper. My camp is easy to set up, pull out 2 folding tables, 1 cooking table and 1 eating table and right back in real quick. Everything but the kitchen sink.

I have to agree with everyone rocking the camper shells here, its the way to go for me at least! I have the tall Leer camper. I set up a bed for one or two person camping and have plenty of storage for gear. With the single bed setup I can sit upright inside on a milk crate, and i'm a pretty big guy. Rode out a storm in Gifford-Pinchot National Forest last weekend in comfort. Plus I don't have storage room inside my home for my stuff so everything stays locked up and secure.
Basically stock 2013 F150 4x4. No issues getting around on the roads and trails, rubs some bushes and branches occasionally in more overgrown areas . Currently only addition besides the camper are RCI skid plates. Looking at adding lighting and upgrading the suspension when the stock one wears out. Until then saving money for gas and food! Getting a lot of ideas from some of these other rigs though...

2015 Ram 2500. 35s Toyo MT with no lift. 8 foot long bed. Ya it's a bit impractical in tight trails, gets scratched up actually pretty bad in tight trails. There's certain trails I cannot touch because my truck is too wide and way too long. But I love my truck.
Currently have a Highway Products Headache Rack and Tool Box and Bed Caps with tie down points all over the caps. Awesome for work and for storing gear. Looking to sell the Highway Products setup however so I can fab up my own rack for a RTT.

I have an old F-250 extended cab long box that we use for pulling and hauling mostly. I once was heading down a forest road/trail and came across some people in side by sides and they couldn't believe I'd try and take a truck like that down this trail. They told me it gets way to narrow to take that down this trail. My wife just shrugged her shoulders at them and said we have reverse. Made it all the way on that one with no problems. Now if I wanted to turn around and go back that can get interesting.

Here is my 16 3500 crewcab long bed. 37’s Thuren leveling kit with King shocks and my FWC Grandby. Has had a camper in it since day one. Making some changes currently. Bumper winch, air, diff, custom flatbed and various other items.
I had a 2500 crew cab ram short bed and found I needed the long bed and extra payload for towing with the camper in. I miss the ride of the 2500 but can’t argue the fact that this thing does everything I ask it to except fit in a compact parking space.
