Did you hire 4x4 down there and that trailer what sort of $$$$

Yes I hired a Toyota Prado for Fraser Island.
I would highly recommend the company Noosa2Fraser they specialise in vehicles for the beach and supplied recovery gear, cool box and chairs, they even supplied a blow up donut and pump for the children.
The trailer is a prototype that I have built and will be looking to market later this year, in actual fact that particular one will be sold shortly as I want to build the Mk 2.
