Influencer II
So today was my first day off road in the new Tacoma 4 x 4 off-road. Decided to go to Holy Jim Canyon-pretty tame area (where I went anyways), and had a blast. I pretty much have factory clearance (maybe an extra inch with the new tires), so I’ll be limited as to where I can take her! For now anyway.
The only mishap was my driver error
coming over a berm and didn’t see my line, and high sided a rock, which wedged underneath the skid plate. No traction-right front tire completely off the ground and flagged down another off-roader who pulled me out with ease. No damage was done mechanically. Skid plate has some war wounds and all is good.
Looking forward to the next adventure.
The Tacoma truck handled well. It would’ve handled much better had I aired down; however I did not have an
air compressor to air up and wasn’t sure if I would run into anybody that would, so rode her much higher than I should.
Getting the compressor this week before we go out again because I know airing down makes a huge difference.
