Fire starting magic!!

Initial fire=a little white gas-when it's cold out----stand back
Cotton balls in Vaseline
Lint and Vaseline
twigs...tinder...small dry brush
Strike anywhere matches
BBQ toggle lighter
Newspaper

I like the idea of some hand sanitizer...I already have it with me anyway. The more damp and nasty, the more flammable combinations come into play. AND IT'S CHEAP.

We also do petroleum jelly and cotton. My wife puts petroleum jelly on a make-up remover pad(cotton rounds) and folds it in half and then dips it into wax. Work great and we have a bunch stashed with our different camping gear.
