With the kids getting old enough to not need an entertainment system and tall enough to climb up into a vehicle. We got ordered our 2018 JKU Rubicon Recon. Firecracker Red.

Our plans is to make it our overland/ camping zombie survival vehicle...

Here we go. The first photo I got of her was when she was sitting at the train depot waiting to be delivered to the dealership. This did involve a drone :)DJI_0025.jpgNext

First mods were the Warn winch, Maximus 3 Rear tire carrier and the MOPAR hoop for the bumper as well as the SPOD and the first set of Rigid lights.

Here is a shot after the first set of mods._CJM8025-low.jpg From here we added a few more lights. A hood deflector as well as some headliners. Placed the order for the Gobi rack and waited 19 weeks for it to arrive.. They grow them from tiny seeds so it seems it takes a while.

I have the gobi rack on mine. I ordered it before I was even sure i wanted it. I've had it for about a year, and I love it. Nice jeep BTW.

Making short work of the upgrades. And got the plates. No more dealer tags. Did add some Rotopax to the back though.

Not much left to do before the winter comes.

I have had a Gobi before when I had my Xterra and knew that I would love them on the Jeep. Just that wait... killer

Looking at your pictures, they look like pictures you would see in JP magazine! You do a great job with the pictures. Helps to have a nice Jeep in the pictures too! Benz.
