Long story short, I had a family vacation planned to Red River Gorge late October.. Things fell apart and now it's going to be my brother and I for a long weekend getaway.
I've always been interested in doing trails like the DBBB and it's the perfect opportunity to give it a whirl!
Even though my truck isn't stock, I want to stick with stock friendly trails. My truck isn't built for extreme stuff. It's a 2019 Ram 1500 4x4 with a 6inch lift, coilovers and I'm on 35 A/Ts.
We have a cabin in Zoe, I'm not familiar with the area at all.
Can anyone give me suggestions on easier trails (dirt roads, creek crossings are cool, etc).
So far I have noted Fixer Road loops, Barker Branch Road and Bald Rock Road.
Also with apps like OnX or Gaia - is it pretty fool proof in selecting routes based on my requirements? Any recc on which is best?
Thanks guys! I'm excited to finally give this a try and hopefully make it a new hobby!
