Father's Day Insight

"Yes, I know. I have to come home from that big excursion." Have you ever told your better half that?
no, I've never had to tell her that because she is always with me on excursions...happily shirking the same responsibilities that I am...:grinning:

good article. my kids are grown and gone, but reflecting on that article, I realize that I spent all of my time focused on teaching them about this world and how important it is to get an education and learn things and have a good work ethic and save money, do your own vehicle maintenance, etc etc...
now that I'm a lot older and have a lot of life experience, I definitely see that I was negligent in teaching my boys the spiritual and faith side of life. nobody taught me and I didn't think about it until later in life and coming across articles like this. its a lot like food...we feed our kids junk that is convenient to us and enjoyable to them...pizza rolls, chicken nuggets, hot Cheetos, sugary drinks, etc etc., not thinking about how that will effect them health wise in the future...
