Guest, UPDATE We went through the site migration runbook and completed all steps. We will need to complete the migration next week, but will leave the forums up for the weekend. A few days after maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.

Hey guys been a while since I have been on here. I have some guys camping at Crab tree Falls the weekend of the 16th. I fly back that night and will try to head that way Saturday morning. They are looking to hit some trails in the area Saturday afternoon. We did some exploring about a month ago up there plenty of camp spots and a decent trail. Shoe creek is the name I believe. Safe Travels guys!!

Is Shoe Creek open? The full trail that is.
Last time I was able to run the whole thing was back in 2014. Not to long after that, early 15 I think. A land owner shut down the section of trail that goes across his property because people kept venturing off the trail on to his property to play on some natural obstacles (rocks).

The thru trail is closed. You can enter from both sides but have to turn around when you get to the PP. The Park service has also closed off the side trails. I did it in a stock Xterra it was pretty easy some of the alternate routes to camp sites are pretty tight.

Gotcha. Was hoping the complete trail was back open. It sucks, but understand the land owners ordeal.

Yes it does... I have been dealing with trail closure in all aspects.. ATV Mountain bike and OHV sucks a few people abuse and we all lose

I have some friends camping at Crabtree Fall the weekend of March 16th. They want to hit some trails Saturday. I spoke to them and they will be meeting up at the
Montebello Country Store 15072 Crabtree Falls Hwy, Montebello VA with the thought of rolling out at 1000. They will be monitoring channel 2 on the CB. Steve drives a green Jeep Xj with yellow Pelican box on top. I am planning to be there as well if my schedule does not change. There is NO cell service in that area so please let me know if you plan on going so we can have some type of rig count.

I'll get a picture this weekend.
I still have the 1995 Tacoma which is still my project rig but needs the clutch and front diff seals replaced before it rolls again. I think I have a new name that fits. May change it this weekend.
