There is a trail from Richmond to Williamsburg.


Although paved and littered with pedal power (bicycles)... pretty sure we would get yelled at and ticketed too. Haha.

On a serious note.. I do not know of anything between RVA and the coast.
 
I'm going to keep looking. There has to be some public land even if it's a fire road to take instead of black top. Doe's OB have a listing for local clubs? I'll let you know if I find anything. :-}

Would really like to get together even if it’s just a ‘Cars and Coffee’ type deal where we meet somewhere! Anyone else game for something like this in the near future?

Good eats, reasonable prices, big parking lot; I’m thinking Mission BBQ in Newport News. It’s about an hour from Va Beach and Richmond. Not sure where everyone is located

Hello there everyone. Holidays are almost over, and I was wondering if people would like to have a meet up sometime mid January?
 
For those who are Hams or are interested in becoming one, Frost Fest is coming up the first weekend in February. I'll be heading down for the day myself. There are test sessions going on throughout the day and there will be good deals to be had on all sorts of mobile and HT radios.
