Hello folks,

Well, just one week to go, and all is set here. Just doing some minor things. And as far as I know, Marco is on shedule as well.
Marco @76mv could you put up some pictures of your car and trailer? Think people will like that much.
So, just for our info?
Who is coming to the meeting point and join us with the friday trip?
Who is coming friday evening and like to stay.
Because, we still have no clue what to do for dinner.
Who is coming on the saturday morning and join us for the saturday trip?

Food can be a neraby restaurant, or we heat up the grill. Depending on the weather and who is coming.
So, please let us know.

Well folks,

As we here in Holland just dont know what a real winter is, we had code red today, due snow and ice.
And the whole week this kind of weather stays. So, that means good fun on the tracks for us.
Just three more days to go and the it is testing time. So excited to do this.
We will have a wonderful time.
Come along for the ride.

Hello Ramon,

Well, if you dont have any recovery materials, that is hard to get in a short notice.
I think if you order the 2 and 3 mtr of this, it will be for now more as enough.
https://www.4x4life.nl/Sleeplinten-verlengtouwen
I would buy a 6 mtr one then in the future.
In the Netherlands and Europe there is a lot of mud, so Sandladders are a must I guess. Especially if you dont have a winch.
https://www.autooptimierer.de/epages/62276560.sf/de_DE/?ObjectPath=/Shops/62276560/Categories/"Offroad Zubehör"/Sandbleche
Both shops are the shops were I buy, I dont get a fee, but as I buy there I know they do a good job.
And both do know me. So it could help you with some discount.
And I tested this stuff myself, so I know that it is good value for money.
However, go were your wallet is taking you.

I have enough recovery gear, but the rule is, you bring your own. If it breaks it is just your gear.
On the other hand, no worries, I have enough. If it breaks during a recovery for you, just replace.

Ohw and bring a shovel.

Greetings from Robert

You are welcome,
We can talk recovery gear and more during the day if you like. Well, actually, we will talk about those things anyway, as we all like those kind of things.
And that is why we are here, to help out with info and More!.

And I would say, bring some extra clothing for the kid. Think she will need it. Think she will be muddy at the end of the day.

I gues it also depends on the type of "offrading" you do. I prefer to call it greenlaning.
We did several trips on our own in belgium and Sweden. We don't carry special recovery gear. If you don't feel safe, don't go in.
But offcorse you are limited then.
Anyway i don't have the option to do the more havy stuff since it is my daily drive and can't afford to break it.
Good tyres and common sence are worth more than a ton off recovery gear.

That said, yess, i have now at that point where we would like to go a litte more havy. So I am also looking for some recovery gear. So this will be a nice opportunity to learn some more and get tips from the "pro's"

@Robert OB 33/48 can you give mayby some contact information for Saturday mornig just in case.

Looking forward to meet you all

Hello Folks,

Well, we had a great time with Marco, actually as he is still here, we still have. And we had a good drive on some tracks.
So here are some pictures of the first day.
I hope Toon and Ramon will put up some of the second day.
Thank you for coming and again, sorry for stopping too early due the brake pads that worn of too quick.
At home I manage to make the pad I had fit, so we are back on the road again.

Hope to see you folks soon again.

Getting stuck is somthing I do too much, hehe

The cars look less clean after a good mud bath.

And after all was hooked on, we drove till the campsite was reached.
After a great meal , good talks we went to bed. And then, in the middle of the night, when I came back to bed after a stop at a tree outside, I noticed that someone had taken my place in my bed.

More to come.

Well folks,
The last day of the visit of Marco we went to a little 4WD Travel event, and I think we told our stories well. Had a good time there.
Here just a little impression of the little event.
