Dometic CFX 28 vs Lifetime 28Q Size Comparison

Just received my Dometic CFX 28 today. It will supplement my Lifetime 28Q cooler. For comparison here are some side by side shots. I did not want to get a bigger fridge as I wanted it to fit in the same exactly place where I have my existing cool. The best thing is that it fits in the same spot no problem.

I cleaned it, plugged it in, setup the way I want and it got to the degrees I set very quickly.

How about an update

Sure thing but not much to tell. I did use the Dometic on two trips so far and loved it. Works as expected. Loved how I didn’t have to buy ice. When we went to our last trip we used it as our main fridge even though the place we stayed for two days had a full size proper fridge.

During our overlanding trip we basically went through rock hell and back lol and the fridge didn’t skip a beat. Solid!

Gets to the set temp quickly, easy to clean, works perfectly in my camper shell set up as far as height, size, and all as far as replacement of the Lifttime cooler.

Now it is waiting for our next adventure.
