Hi All,
Just in case your interested :

I have a dog, she is a great dog, but she had a slip on my rock rail getting into the rig and since then had been shy about it ( basically puts up a fight and required shenanigans from my side to get her to load up)...
I have and am planning on taking her on pretty much all my adventures where dogs can go!

So I purchased dog stairs... yes before the "Dogs can jump" get started --> perspective from my chair :
- Get in and out of the rig at all stages of her life, right now she is less then a year old but you all know how quickly time goes by....
- Avoid any accidents, a friend of mine had his dog slip, fall and tear a tendon... so yeah let's avoid that.
- The truck is her safe place, so would like her to be able to get into any time when were just hanging out

So I thought ok doggie steps, and found one that I can secure to the rock rail and so far she likes it!
0 issues loading her up and they pack down so I can tuck them behind my seat.

Freind has a carpeted wooden ramp that sits across the floor of his crewcab. Slides out.

Does it really fold up as small as the picture shows?
Do you feel the 250lb weight rating is legit? My dog is well over 100lbs and old.

Good questions :
Well since most of the online photos are "questionable" I can say that it does fold down small enough to fit behind my driver seat. I purchased the large one and it fits great. So far not a huge deal to set up and put away.

As far as weight, I actually used it because it was in the way of getting in the cargo area and it held me ( and I am not petite!) So yeah, at least a 180 lb dog or human - > should be fine!
