DIY Kydex Mic Holder

Hi Everyone,
I want to show off the mic holder I made for my radio last night. I needed a mount in the Jeep, but didn't want to drill any holes. I used a scrap piece of kydex that was left over from the last sheath I made. I made a template, then transfered it to the kydex and used a heat gun to bend it.

Well it was 111 degrees at my house yesterday, and the Jeep sat in the sun with the windows up all day. The mount did not move or sag at all, so I think I'm good to go.

Now I'm thinking about making some type of mountable Kydex holster for my Pelican 1170 first aid kit in the rear.

Much neater than my solution, which was to google "wiring looms in a JK", pray a little, hope for the best, and use self-tappers into the dash. No airbags exploded and 100,000 km later it's not burnt to the ground so I think I'm OK, but your solution is WAY nicer. I'll use that on my next jeep!
