Disc Brake Conversion?

Does anyone know of a rear disc brake conversion kit for a 95 jeep xj I have seen kits but it looks like ill have to upgrade axles and all of that fun stuff. Is there just a drop in replacement out there?

Just do a search for XJ disc brake conversion. There are several kits available to buy or you can get the backing plates from a ZJ or Jeep Liberty and make your own kit. The conversions work for both the Chrysler 8.25 or Dana 35 depending on what axle you have.

I did the G2 Axle disc brake conversion on my 98 with the Chy. 8.25 axle, and it works flawlessly, just order the E-brake cables as these will be a little different as the E-brake is inside the drum now.
