What is the policy with regard to bringing dogs to DV back country? Typically, they are not allowed. Will that change for the Guardian Event?

DEATH VALLEY NPS HAS CANCELLED THE TRAIL GUARDIAN EVENT AND PROPOSED A NEW DATE

I will get back to you very soon with a date once I can check schedules.
I dont know how we will handle RSVPS but those that signed up for January will have first pick.

"Kent,

My apologies for not getting back to you sooner on this issue. COVID aside, as our project date is fast approaching and we are still not fully stocked on materials, it would be best to reschedule and proposing a February 19th date for the work. This will give us time to secure the necessary materials for both the bracing and t-post sections. Please reach out with questions and concerns regarding this project and our need for rescheduling. We look forward to having Overland Bound assist on this important undertaking and hope your group is still available to participate on an agreed future date.

Kent, add me to the waitlist for the next date. I was about to message you about going, but just saw the cancellation. It’s our 10th wedding anniversary and my wife’s bday weekend so we were looking to get away and go on an adventure :)
 
Thanks for the update, Kent. Hopefully it works out for February. And hopefully I get a spot this time. :grinning:
