Looking for some info on some siders for my ram 1500 quad cab.

Have seen them for the four door crew cab verison but seems to be harder to find for the smaller cab of the quad cab.

Biggest question?? If I have them made what is the material often used for a slider? Steel is heavy but aluminum is fragile. Od id pipe norm used? Anyone have a fab guy or is a fab guy that is handy with a welder? Just looking for that special sauce folks use. I am sure i could cut the full cab ones down and tweek them to fit. I can weld but if someone has a better opinion on them please reply

I just installed a set from RCI Metalworks (not far from you up I25 in FTC). These use 2" square 11ga tube for the main slider and all legs, then use 1/4" plate for the frame mount and gussets. The step tube is 1.75" 11ga DOM steel.

You might also check with Corey Sain at InSain Fabrication in Thornton. I don't have any of their work but what I've seen was well done and they take pride in custom solutions.

Yes, Their shop is at 6144 County Rd. 80. Basically Prospect and Colorado Blvd. Their website says they also have a location in Loveland, CO but I don't know where it is.
