The meet will kick off at the Machinery Museum on RT. 7 in Kent @ 11:00 am.
After a few hellos, and everyone getting situated the group will head out at 11:30 am.
The group will then head towards the top of Mohawk Mt. (1- 1.1/2 hrs drive)
Information that has been supplied by members includes multiple areas where rigs can situate themselves and have a group picnic and or lunch.
After lunch members can either check out some scenery and hang out or head out up to you.

View Rally Point
Just to add further info on the picnic/lunch.
We will be gathering somewhere in the Mohawk Mt. State Forrest for the lunch. Bring your own food. What you eat and how you prepare is up to you. You can go with pre-made sandwiches or break out your grill / stove and cook your lunch on site. We have no time limit so come prepared to hang out for a little while.

I think I can make this. Stephanie and I will be driving back to Boston on 29th and this might break up the drive nicely.

Unfortunately it is my weekend on. Please let me know if there are any other meetups in the area. I’m very new to this and can’t wait to bet more involved. Anyone planning on going to Overland Expo East?

Little over a week till the event. Hoping for good weather.

Weather Channel forecasting 40% chance of scattered showers for Saturday.
This meetup will go on rain or shine.

Looks like the scattered showers will hold off until later in the afternoon tomorrow.

For communications we will be using Channel 16 on CB and Channel 20 on GMRS.

See everyone at the museum parking lot by 11:00.

I am running late as I am still packing the car in sunnyside. We may go straight to Mohawk. Can you send me the coordinates of the picnic area?

It was great meeting you all! Loved the trails, especially the one that crisscrossed the train tracks, that was super cool.

I'm going to scout out Pachaug if I find a free moment, I'll let you all know if it's worth a trip.

Side note. We will be hosting a charity event (toy drive) in southern Vermont next month. It will be open to those willing to participate in the toy drive.

Sorry I missed it. If I’m not working I’m always up for a good charity event. Is anyone here going to Overland Expo East?
