This will be the second time crossing as I head westward to South Dakota to see family. Last time we ran along Lake Superior and enjoyed the run! This time I hope to run through Hiawatha NF and Chequamegon-Nicolet NF. Hiawatha NF seems to be split E/W by the Superior State Forest...

Anyone familiar with the region? I'll be out the mid-May and with the winter in NH being so warm this year, I have no idea how it's been in this area.. Fire Roads open? Dispersed camping allowed?

I wish it had happened... All plans we're canceled due to the Virus.. Our first trip through there we ran mostly along Superior, really want to see some of the interior next time.
