Jared, are you thinking of a planned route? Or is this more of a play-in-the-mud-and-sand type of day? Also, I see that you noted 4WD, Lift, Armor, however I'm driving a stock Subaru Forester and looking to get out and see what it can do. If you're planning a rock-crawling route, I'll pass. If it'a s play in the mud day, then I may come up and hang out. What's your plan?

Make sure Cow is open on 11/18. It could be closed in anticipation of a storm or right after a storm...

At this point cow is closed we will have to check Saturday morning and up date good chance it will still be closed if open we still want to go

If you go just a tick further northeast you've got the entire Mendocino National Forest you could explore. It's open year round.

MNF offers way more opportunities for fun than Cow Mountain!

If you head up to Lake Pillsbury and head up Hull Mt. there are all kinds of trails from mild to wild. Or, you could head to Snow Mt. If anyone is interested, I could put together a run sometime. Cow Mt. is fun too, but limiting.

Tons of adventure up the M1 for sure! M6 also leads to lots of great locations along the ridge to the East of Hull Mt.


even with big fallen trees there are enough roads up there to find your way around the blockages.

If anybody’s still tryna go up to that area. I’m going into Indian valley reservoir through Bartlett springs road for a night of camping Saturday and shooting the next day. Anybody wanna go let me know 1st come 1st serve camping. Fun little trails all through the area tons to explore and it’s pretty easy to navigate if u wanna venture off by yourself
