Coffee Set Ups

Thanks. It just kinda dawned on me as we were packing up. I usually grab the soap and shampoo to keep at home for house guests or to take camping and thought, why not? It's worth a shot and I need to run my stove a bit more often anyways.

How's the caffine transfer from the pouches...?
I'm a big fan of higher octane caffine... LOL

After you open the foil wrapper, the coffee is basically wrapped in a filter and sealed. Makes cleanup easier and prevents such a mess in the room.

I went DIY on this one.... At home and work I use a keurig so for the DIY part I grabbed a stainless steel water bottle from the thrift store and cut it up. Then to use I cut some holes in the top and bottom of the k-cup and then insert into the DIY Coffee Minion and pour the hot water over it. Simple but it works. Total cost of $.25.18581811_447834355553115_4108397182257740677_n.jpg 18557254_447834465553104_7311960329806568032_n.jpg 18556316_447834418886442_3581594355006980845_n.jpg 18519753_447834388886445_5732172026079914706_n.jpg 18528001_447834475553103_3942625168355324475_n.jpg 18519752_447834585553092_9085685121140070849_n.jpg

I've been interested in the areopress. How long have you been using it?

Just Black is a great roast!

Thanks for sharing,

About a year now and it's the bomb. Most of all, super easy use and cleanup. Sold several friends on it.

Kickstarter has a really cool coffee press, it’s called Rite Press. Good price, two sizes, thermometer and hourglass timer.

Thats a nice portable humidor, too! When I go overlanding, and everywhere else, I always have my pipe, and at least one blend. My favorite blend so far is Wilke 515, which is actually the same blend that the original actor portraying Sherlock, Basil Rathbone, smoked!
thats the best expresso maker ever made, try it with some Pilon or Bustelo coffee
