Cleaning (and protecting) an emblem on a rig

Anyone know what to use for a replacement 3M adhesive backing on the emblems? Shopping around on Amazon so far no luck? Yes they do come off!

I have not mounted mine yet but when I do get them on I will regard any tarnishing, stains etc. as I regard the scratches in my rig and call it "experienced"...
I have not had a chance to put a magnet to it yet but if they are steel Im gonna tack weld them on too...lol

I sprayed 3 coats of clear on mine prior to installing on my rig. [emoji14]

Hello everyone,

Sorry to revive an old thread but was this issue resolved. I love the emblem and want it on the outside but worried about corrosion since there is a lot of salt dropped in my neck of the woods.
