Here in the Gaia Maps routes that we will be generally following. We will be exploring either side of the route, but that is the most straight through route from our start to the exit.

Any recommendations on places to camp for Friday night?

There are actually a few camping sites along Briceburg Road, right near the air down waypoint. McCabe Flat Campground, Willow Placer Campground, and Railroad Flat Campground are all really close by.

Im thinking of joining you folks on this. My question is, How difficult of a route is this? I have a 3"lift with 35's, 1999 Landcruiser. Are there rock crawling type terrain? Just trying to gauge if my rig would make it. Thanks

You'll be fine. This is an introductory trip so it's pretty tame. Might be some deep ruts we have to navigate but your 35s will be wanting more at the end. Haha.

I'm planning to camp at McCabe Flat tonight. I've got a metallic tan gen3 4runner. Probably pull in around 9.

Backcountry Adventures Northern Cal has the Burma Grade Trail around there. It's rated a 3 which is pretty easy for a 4wd.

I'm going to check that out if nothing else hapoens.
