Looking for suggestions for a camp table. Ideally something that folds, is fairly light and could be mounted on the roof rack exposed to the elements. Large enough to support a two burner stove and meal prep.
 
There are definitely better options, but I have two of these and am happy with them. Also one of these ...works pretty well. I keep all of these on the roof easily.

Front Runner makes a great rack set-up with accessory tray and stainless steel table that mounts under the rack. It can be installed sideways or to the rear depending on how the rear hatch on your rig opens. Make sure you get the rubber inserts that go in the slots at the bottom of the rack and nearly eliminate all noise. I also put weather stripping between the folded legs and the bottom of the table and now it make no noise.

Having purchased a number of things from Front Runner before (including a drawer system and accessories) I can confirm the quality, however… not cheap.

I hemmed and hawed about a nice table (K9, Snow Peak, etc.) to replace my roll-top, but in the end I spent $40 on a 2'x4' plastic folding table that fits nicely in the rig and is a solid surface when set up. I like that it's stored out of the dust and mud so it's clean enough to use right away. It lacks the overlander style, but I can see past that for now.

I use the following...

2 of 70cm x 70cm Slate tables, http://www.oztrail.com.au/product-range/camping-outdoor-furniture/slat-table-by-oztrail . I use one for the stove and one for prep or just a quick coffee stop.

1 of 110cm x 70cm Slate table, http://www.oztrail.com.au/product-range/camping-outdoor-furniture/easy-table-4-by-oztrail . I use this if I setup for a while and want a bigger table just to sit around.

I like the Slat style tables as they fit into a bag that fit behind my front seats.

The 70cm x 70cm are light, but I make sure I put them on firm ground as if they are not flat they do get a little wobble. The larger table is solid.

I have a very similar setup. The table stores nicely at the bottom of my trailer....it's hidden under a tablecloth.

I picked up an alps mountaineering table used from a friend of mine about 2 years ago. Packs up decent and is light yet sturdy.
 
Thank you for all the excellent suggestions!! I've decided to go with the Alps Mountaineering Guide Table. It's just the right size and since I'm 6'6" the adjustable height option is a great option for a comfortable work top. I also like it collapses down into a carry bag that I can easily attach to my roof rack.

I have the plastic 2x4' folding table as well. I like that it has adjustable legs, cleans up easily and packs inside nicely. It was $29!

Looks like you have an LR3? The Front Runner stainless prep table fits PERFECTLY on the ledges of the rear cargo area. Doesn't slide around... like it was made for it.

I use it as a shelf. I can pull out the cases below it, they just slide. Stuff on the table can stay put while I access anything below it.

I use my rig for daily/family things, so I don't use drawer systems or anything. That table allows me to divide the rear.

Just to be specific. I have a 2013 LR4, but I think the rear cargo storage area is exactly the same on the LR3. The area where the table sits is where the factory cargo pull cover would go, and I think that stayed the same.
