After waiting a really long time for my bumper/ tire carrier, it arrived and I instantly regretted not getting one with a table. Even if it's just someplace to make coffee. So I set out to build my own. At first I was gonna cut a sheet of aluminum, but this baking pan was rigid, already cut to size, and pretty cheap. A few hinges, some stainless cable, and aluminum stock and it came together pretty well. It's held in the up position by some White Cap marine 3/8 rubber rod holders. It's staying put so far. I won't be headed into the dirt for another 8 days, but we'll see how solid it is then. Anyway, it was a fun and inexpensive project that should be pretty useful.
