Camp Photos!

It was raining. I cheated.

This was the generator shack for the mine and the roof was still in pretty good shape. Part was peeled away on the side with my chair in the first photo and there were a few leaks, but it made a fine shelter to cook and eat out of the wind and rain. It was nice to not have to dry off the boxes and cooler to put back in the car the next morning (I was sleeping in the back of the rig this trip).

Still, it's good to be home and back in my own bed with my wife and dogs.

@TreXTerra, where is this at? I'm in Layton, we should meet up sometime.

Set in the Monongahela National Forest the middle week of October 2016. My very first attempts at night photography taken from our campsite and some campsite photos.

Coyote Lake in Gilroy, CA. Was my first time there and it was super nice and vacant. Not roughing it, but did have my 3-year old with me so I wanted to play it safe. Also, rockin the OB Green Team flag!

Looks like a great camp site. We should hit up Prewitt Ridge camp site and drive the Old Coast HWY in Big Sur some time. Prewitt Ridge is a primitive camp site and they only have tables and fire rings, (no toilets or running water) but it does have a great view of the Pacific Ocean. We can also make it a day trip.

FYI.
You may want to update your signature regarding the Yakima :tonguewink:

- ARB Deluxe Bull Bar
- Warn M8000 Winch

- Overland Bound sticker on hatch

Not sure if this has already been suggested, so apologies if it has. I have looked through every page and was truly impressed with a large number of photos. What about a competition which would see the winner photos being included in a calendar that we can buy from the site. We could all vote on the photos to get them down to a number to be included in a yearly overland bound calendar.

@Michael @Corrie This is a great idea, either choose from these photos or @BazzaJ selection, I would buy one and maybe many to give as gifts. 2017 is coming soon!

One more thing for you to do!
