I was looking to find a way to keep the beach sand out of the truck and help the kids wash their hands for snacks and eating.
I didn’t have the cash for a super fancy portable shower or pressure system, so I went to Harbor Freight and bought a 2.5 gallon hand sprayer. I trimmed the long wand down to 4 inches, and put it all together again.
It works great to wash hands and feet, spray off equipment, and even to put out the fire pit before packing it up. At 2.5 gallons, it’s not overly large for our beach day trips, and just enough water to handle the job.
For safety reasons, you should purchase a brand new sprayer so there aren’t any chemical residues and then keep the sprayer for a single purpose. I will try to upload some photos tomorrow on your trip.
