Okay, so I'm planning on running an aux battery on my 2012 liberty... Only problem.... Don't know what type! In my Jeep I have a small hatch in the rear and I wanted to got it in there but I'm having trouble figuring out what type of battery. Any advice?

Group 31 AGM...Deep Cycle...110Ah.....And a Renogy DC to DC charger to keep it charged from your alternator

Match the existing battery if it's not too old.

An unhappy customer will tell 10 people. A happy customer might tell one.

I've been eyeballing their 20 amp dc to dc unit.
Do you have a model number or link by chance? I’ve been thinking about one, but only found the Redarc units so far

I've been thinking about getting one, but mentally haven't been to think about how to run the cables from the engine and into my camper shell where the second battery is located. I don't want to drill any more holes lol.

I can’t tell from the webpage, will that Renogy unit also take a solar input?

No, these units will not. But they now have one that will. But it is so successful that they are always out of stock on it.

Here is a great user video on it. This guy, Will Prowse, is the best there is on youtube about solar.

I have two 100 watt panels to Renogy 100 Ah lithium iron phosphate battery. 0 issues. Runs my Dometic CFX75 perfectly. It is housed in a Leitner storage box with two 12v marine outlets on the backside. Sure if you buy the cheapest stuff you will get the same results. I have read a lot of positive reviews. Bluetooth connection is cool too to monitor from the cab.

I also support Will. Smart guy for sure! He was the inspiration for my setup.
