Welcome! I’m not really close to Amarillo, but I bet you’re not the only one out there. I have been surprised how many OB’ers are out there after joining up.

I'm in Lubbock. We are spread around between Amarillo, Midland, Lubbock. I am having an overland gathering in mid October at my wife's brewery. OB, West Texas Flatlanders, Rigs and Coffee groups and Texas Tactical Jeeps will get invites. Probably on a Saturday. Not sure of the date yet as I am waiting on the release date of her Octoberfest beer - Marzen. It was outstanding last year. USA Today ranked it the #11 small brewery in the US earlier this year. They were competing against LA, Boston, NY, Miami, Pittsburgh, Denver, etc. All big cities and they missed the top 10 by a few hundred votes.
