4Runner kitchen slide out set up

So I am wanting to build out a slide out kitchen drawer. Currently my RTT opens to the driver side, and my next upgrade will be a 180 awning on the passenger side. I am curious if anyone has done something similar and set up the cooking side of your drawer to face the outside. So you’d be under the awning cooking and the stove would be under the lift gate. Seems to make more sense to me, especially if it’s raining or snowing. If anyone has done something similar please show me your setup!

I have a similar setup, but all my builds haven't had the liftgate the 4Runners do. On the FJ I could cook on the rear bumper.
In the disco the rear door has a table which folds down for cooking, so it is next to my fridge, and under my 270 awning.
