My Ideas -
King Suspension
Some upper Control Arms
Snorkel
Winch
Rock Slides

Anything Else I have yet to think of, but I am really open to Ideas!

Congratulations!

I just got my 2018 TOR about a month ago and the first thing I did was ceramic window tint and then the NoxLux blackout kit. I also picked up an ARB onboard air setup but still need to install it. I just ordered LED bulbs for all the interior lights just a few minutes ago too!

From a more major standpoint, I have sliders next on my list. That is primarily so my daughter doesn’t fall getting out of the back seat. Safety first! I have a long list of parts and add-ons that I hope to do after all that as well.

I am waiting a bit to get new tires on it but hope I hurry up and get them. It should have been the first thing I did, but oh well...

RCI skid plates, fuel tank armor, and front lower control arm armor. Diff breather and transmission breather extensions to get them above water.

Good looking ride. What's your plan for the interior build? Fridge and always-on DC and USB plugs are always needed. [emoji41]

Look forward to seeing how you outfit your rig.

when I got my 2nd gen tacoma it had new tires but they were crap [Firestone all seasons I think] I bought BFG KO2's and was able to sell the old tires and pay half the cost of the BFG's
just a thought, do it soon while the stock tires are still worth something
sliders , not sure you need to get crazy with skids in MI, I don't feel a great need for them in MN, but whatever you are comfortable with

Anyone running the new KM3’ and what do you think of them over the KO2’s?

First mods coming in hot! Ordered a TJM snorkel + diff breather. Prinsu rack will be ordered this week too.

Will have the snorkel installed hopefully in the next two weeks

So the big thing I want to do is have a fridge that I can sleep on. There is a Webasto Isotherm 35l fridge drawer that I am eyeing.

As for others, I’m working on getting my ham license, and lots of storage.

Update - 1/25

Installed snorkel! All buttoned up!
Installed ARB diff breather!
Installed Caliraised 42 light bar
Installed full wiring kit and switch panel
Did a TRD pro front grille swap

Things I have ordered
AllPro off-road rock sliders - will get powder coated locally
Dobinsons springs - will be pairing with falcon shocks. Don’t want to go full king just yet, but the falcons seem pretty good.

- you can go deeper in water. I still have my limit to be right above the tire, and if I accidentally go too deep, my engine won’t be flooded. I’m not deep diving with it.

- dust. In New Mexico, Nevada, Arizona and such, if you’re behind someone, the dust filter fills up real quick with sand. This prevents this.

- fender liner removal. No one talks about this, but I think it’s really important. The air intake on the 4Runner is behind the fender, and above the wheel. The liner prevents major particulate to get into the air box. With a snorkel I can delete the fender liner, and while flexing stick a big tire in the fender without scrubbing on the liner.

The big thing too with people is you should do a diff breather with the snorkel. Otherwise you’ll possibly get water in the rear end, which is a no-go.

Also, I think it looks cool. [emoji12]
