With the cost of brand name foldup tables being ridiculously high, I designed my own table. A local fab shop made me the table $50 and Home Depot provided
the hardware $10. And voila!

I like it. What exactly did you ask the fab shop to do? I was looking at the tables and really like them but 350 bucks
Could be spent elsewhere or not at all lol. Really would like to do a low cost option so any info would be great. Also any rattling around when your driving. Anything you would do different?

@stoney126 I asked the fab shop to cut a 27"x16" piece of 1/8" aluminum and give me 4 folds at 3/4". Not rattling at all. I'll take closer pics for you and post them on this thread.

I like diy projects too. Don't get me wrong that table for sale is pretty nice and I really like that there is no drilling. Wonder if I got some plastic inserts at the shop....hmmm

thats like on the storage system i just built. Im in it for probly $450, and if i had to buy it, it would likely be $1000 to $1100, not including the hatch lights i installed
