So I’m looking at mid June doing a Friday-Sunday loop out of Seattle. Most of the group will be between total novice and, mildly experienced, with vehicles being in the Subaru type class....
Thinking day 1 is get out to Ellensburg and do the WABDR section 3 up around lion rock and make camp.
Saturday finish section 3 down to Wenatchee.... but where from there? East toward Quincy lakes or Frenchman coulee? North to Chelan area? Loop back westward on hwy 2 toward Beckler river road area? Farther? We don’t want to drive allll day. Most of the focus of this trip is some pleasantly safe socializing and getting away from the city. But epic views or vistas is great.
anyone got a good suggestion? Main requirement is just no established campgrounds. We like our solitude and privacy. And nothing technical driving so all attendees can follow along easily...
