270* awning with a liftgate???

The Oztent/Rhino Rack awning I use is designed to be lower on the vehicle and higher at the outside edge. The water runs inwards and down the water chute.
To fit it over a higher tailgate, you just extend the poles a little higher until it clears.
I looked at everything on the market and all have 2 beams over the rear in a V shape which wouldn't clear unless it was raised much higher on the rack which i didn't want.

Yes, I’ve used a 270° awning with a liftgate setup and can share some insight. It definitely offers way more coverage than a traditional awning, which is great for hot days or when rain suddenly rolls in—especially if your kitchen setup is out back. The shade wraps around the side and rear, so it’s perfect for liftgate access and still keeps your area covered.
